Hello, my name is Phyllis Shaw, MS, MSW, LCSWA.I am an Intensive In-Home Team Lead and therapist at Greater Vision Counseling & Consulting. I support youth and families as they work toward emotional stability, stronger coping skills, and healthier relationships.
I bring over 20 years of experience serving children and families across North Carolina and Georgia, with a background in community-based services, care management, behavioral health support, and clinical collaboration as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fayetteville State University, a Master of Science (MS) from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSW) from Methodist College (now Methodist University).
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, DIY projects, cooking and baking, writing, and watching ice hockey. My heart is especially drawn to grief support, and I believe every person deserves compassion, dignity, and a safe space to heal.
