Hello, my name is Annette Jones, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) with a strong commitment to supporting the emotional and mental well-being of individuals and families. My approach to counseling is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can feel heard, empowered, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

I have lived in Hoke County all my life. After graduating from Hoke County High School, I attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP), earning my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Social Studies Education and a Master’s degree in School Counseling. I later obtained my licensure as an LCMHCA through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).  I continued my academic journey by earning a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW).

As a recent retiree from the public school system, I bring over 30 years of experience working with children and families, supporting individuals across academic, career, and social-emotional development.

Outside of my professional role, I am a proud mother of two beautiful daughters, an active member of my local church, and a caregiver to my husband. I understand firsthand that life brings challenges that impact our mental health and well being, but I firmly believe that with support, guidance, and access to the right resources, those challenges can be overcome.
