This past weekend, Greater Vision Counseling had the honor of participating in the 56th Annual Lumbee Homecoming in Pembroke, North Carolina. The event brought together families, friends, and community members in a powerful celebration of Lumbee culture and heritage.

On Saturday, July 5th, our team proudly took part in the annual Homecoming Parade. With our float decorated, we spread messages of hope and healing to the community as we walked/rode through the heart of Pembroke with gratitude and pride. It was a joy to see so many smiling faces, hear the cheers, and share meaningful moments with people from all over the community.

Our participation held special significance, as Greater Vision Counseling is owned and led by a proud Lumbee woman. Being part of the parade wasn’t just a celebration—it was a reflection of our deep roots in this community and our ongoing commitment to serving it with compassion and care.

We’re incredibly thankful to the Lumbee Tribe and LRDA for organizing such a meaningful event and for the opportunity to be involved. We also want to thank everyone who showed support along the parade route. Your energy and encouragement mean so much to our team.

We’re here for you. If you saw us at the parade or connected with us during the weekend, we’d love to stay in touch. Follow us on social media to learn more about how Greater Vision Counseling can support your mental health journey.
