Hi, my name is Deja, and I’m currently a TCM-Extender with Greater Vision Counseling. I am also a student at Coastal Carolina Community College, working toward my Associate in Arts degree, with plans to pursue a Master’s in Social Work. My goal is to use my degree to become a licensed therapist and support individuals on their mental health journeys.

I bring past experience as a paraprofessional, where I worked closely with autistic adults—helping them with daily living skills and promoting independence. This experience inspired my passion for mental health, accessibility, and advocacy. I’m currently teaching myself American Sign Language to better connect with diverse communities and expand my ability to communicate inclusively.

Outside of work and school, I volunteer with the nonprofit Open Hearts Changing Lives, contributing to community support and mental health awareness efforts. In my free time, I enjoy reading, interior design, makeup, and spending quality time with my kids.
