I graduated in 2020 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Child/Adolescent focus) from Northwestern University. I completed my undergraduate work in Psychology at UNC-Pembrooke. As a military spouse and mother to three amazing children, I can offer an “insider’s” perspective to parents and military families. Additionally, I have a passion for working with children and families with spectrum disorders and ADHD. I am developing a strong advocate heart for working with and supporting the autistic community in addition to the military community I am part of. I have worked with many veterans through my internship at Greater Vision and enjoy being able to support our military members, veterans, and their families.
My time at Greater Vision has shown me what it means to be a quality counselor and I enjoy the family that has been created within the facility and the community at large. Working in a small town was never something this city girl dreamed of and I am loving every minute of the education and family I have gained through this experience.
I take an eclectic view of theoretical bases and pull from a variety of modalities, techniques, and theoretical practices. I look forward to providing you with a person-centered approach tailored to meet the needs of your situation.
